Kate Miller ran away to the theatre when she was 16 years old. Literally. She grew up in rural West Virginia and was anxious to see the world, so she ended up all the way in Kentucky - as an apprentice for a summer stock theatre. After that first summer away & debuting on a semi-professional stage, Kate got herself accepted into Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan where she finished her high school education. That led her to San Diego, CA where she earned her B.F.A.in Theatre on a full scholarship & where she began to build her professional resume. This experience inspired her & gave her the courage to go to New York City, where she debuted on the Broadway stage with the legendary comedy icon, Carol Burnett...

In between then & now, Kate has run the gamut of show business, spending time in both daytime & primetime television, film & of course, more theatre - e.g. in London with the late great Sir Peter Hall, in Los Angeles & mostly in NYC, both on & Off Broadway...
She also frequents the VO recording booth. Kate has had a steady 30 year career in voice work. She is the voice of Debbie Dupree on the OG debut Adult Swim series Sealab 2021 & Grace Ryan on Frisky Dingo, both for Cartoon Network. But she's made a successful career doing voice overs in every medium possible - animation, narration, commercials, promos, video games, motion capture & books on tape...
